Introduction
NeoQuest is possibly the *BIGGEST* game NeoPets have developed yet, and so popular that it has to be shut down temporarily at peak times to stop the NeoPets servers dying.
So whats the big attraction? Well, with its popular RPG genre type, any addicts to that will love this game. Also, lupe lovers will take interest; the star of the show is a cute white lupe. Also, this game just kicks ass!!
The gist of the game is that your pet is playing as the lupe in the game, and the whole thing is set in ancient Neopia. Just like the game Pokemon, you hunt around fighting little monsters you meet in your way, and build up to the bosses. Also, you collect things that monsters you have defeated drop, such as healing potions (only redemable in the NeoQuest game), weapons, precious stones and strange miscellaneous odd ends. |
Glossary of terms:
Health: This is the health of your pet's character (the lupe) Reach 0 and die. Experience: After you defeat each monster, you gain experience (EXP) points depending on how strong the other moster is compared to you. The stronger it is, the more points. Most bosses earn you around 500, but if you are A LOT stronger than your enemy, you don't gain any! Difficulty: You can only start at Normal. Once you beat the game at this level, you go on to Evil, then Insane. View Skills: This shows you what skills you have chosen already with your skill points. Spend Skill Points: This only shows once you gain a level. You will have 8 skill points to start with, with which you chose which skills you want to "spend" them on. Think of them as like dubloons or codestones. Each one you spend to gain levels of skills. View Items: This brings to to a page like your inventory, but for NeoQuest. Anything you carry, weapons, potions etc are all shown here. Use/destroy things here too. Movement type: I recommend using "Hunting" as this gets you more monsters in the same area of land, and thus more experience points (leading to higher level, health, and more items). However, if you are injured or just passing by, use "Sneaking" to only encounter a fight occaisionally.

If you would like further help on NeoQuest, my links page contains some excellent links to sites with maps, monster information, item, armour, and weapon lists. Both Hydraa and Osterizer have great sites. |
Fight Records
Here, I have a collection of blast-by-stun records between me and several of the big bosses. Click a link below to see the record for each. I only started keeping records after and including Archmagus of Roo.
Archmagus of Roo Guardian of Shock Magic Guardian of Spectral Magic Guardian of Fire Magic Guardian of Ice Magic Guardian of Life Magic
Each record contains information about my Lupe's level, health, weapons used, the monsters level and health, and how many potions I used, as well as every attack they made. Note: I have not included missed attacks in these records, as they are not relevent and would take up too much space. Where many attacks missed though, I have added a note where necessary. |
